WP:
In a lot of ways, Disney Infinity is the sort of thing I'd dream about as a kid. It was fun to see various characters cross over and have adventures, but in Disney Infinity, you can have Donald Duck fighting alongside Thor while Spider-Man hangs out with Aladdin. Nothing quite compares to this year because Disney Infinity 3.0 throws Star Wars into the mix. The idea of a game where the various Star Wars characters can cross over is enough to get plenty of kids (and some adults) excited. Add in the huge cast of Disney Infinity characters, and it's easy to see why Disney Infinity 3.0 isn't trying to rock the boat. When you can bring Darth Vader to the table, you already have people's attention.

It's only been two years since the release of the first Disney Infinity, which managed to become a massive hit before venturing into Marvel territory in the second game. Now, Disney has tapped the Star Wars market, and its monolithic influence is set to destroy the wallets of parents everywhere.
This would be a bigger problem if the games weren't all that great, but thankfully, Disney Infinity 3.0 maintains the same level of quality as the last entry, with a few minor iterations. Did I mention it has Star Wars in it?

Richard Walker - "An improvement over the previous Infinity games, Disney Infinity 3.0 is the most definitive instalment in the series to date, putting Disney Originals, Marvel and Star Wars under one roof. Factor in the power and possibilities presented by the Toy Box, and Disney Infinity 3.0 would be almost impossible to resist if a little more attention had been lavished upon the core gameplay. As it is, it's a worthwhile upgrade and excellent entry into the 'toys to life' market. And the figures are still awesome too."

GR:
When Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Superheroes released, each of the individual play sets opened with a brief single-player vignette that the rest of the play sets didn't quite live up to once they opened up into their larger respective sandboxes. The game inevitably slowed as the larger areas of gameplay became available and mission content was parceled out with less of a story-driven focus. Disney Infinity 3.0 appears to fix this in just about every respect.
